When content is submitted to us, the corresponding translation job in AEM will update its status. You will notice that the lifecycle of these tiles follows this general format:
Status | Description |
Draft | This is the status all tiles enter when they are initially created, this indicates that any content that has been selected has not yet been sent for translation. |
Committed For Translation | Once you initiate the translation process by hitting "Start", the tile updates to "Committed For Translation", this is an intermediary status where content has been submitted but has yet to reach the Straker platform for translation. For larger content, you will notice that it stays in this status for longer while it is processed and exported into the Straker platform. |
Submitted | This status indicates that the content for translation has successfully reached our platform and is being processed by our staff. |
Translation In Progress | This is a straightforward status that indicates that translation has now begun on content. |
Ready For Review | This is the final status that a translation job tile enters into. This indicates that translation has finished and content has been successfully reimported into AEM. You are now able to preview the translations and decide how to proceed. |
Once the translation is completed, it will be automatically reimported into AEM and ready for review. You can now re-enter the tile and preview pages that have had translations completed to view the translated content. At this point you can begin to manipulate the content as you please and publish at your leisure.
