Translations are automatically sent back to Magento when our translators finish translating and have signed off. When a translation is ready to be published the job’s status will change to Ready to Publish. You can choose to publish a few items at a time, or and entire job all at once.
Publishing Options
Option | Description |
Publish Selected | Select each item you want to publish and click the Submit button. When the translations are published the item’s status will update to Published. Items that have not been published will remain as Not Published. |
Publish All | To publish all translations at once, click the Publish All Translations button. You do not need to select any items when doing this. |
View in Back-end & Front-end | Once a translation is published, it can be viewed in the store view’s back-end, as well as in-context on the front-end of the target store. Translations are only visible in the front-end if the item’s visibility is set accordingly. |
CMS Pages & Blocks
Publishing translations of CMS pages and blocks works slightly differently to other content types.
When publishing a CMS page or block, you need to ensure that the target store view is no longer associated with the source page and then assign the store view to the translated page or block.
In the example above, we have a Chinese translation of the Company CMS page. However, the Chinese store view is still associated with the English page.
First, we need to remove the Chinese store view from the English version.
Once this is done, we can associate the Chinese store view with the translated version.

Display a Translated CMS Page
You can do the following to display a single CMS page which is in a particular language on a specific language store view of your website. For example, to display a French About Us page only on the French Store View.

- Under the Page Information, select the Store Views to display the page on. E.g. If you will display the same content for English, French, and German then select the respective store views.
