Using Quality Evaluation

To perform translation quality evaluation: 

1. Click on Quality Evaluation from the sidebar menu to open the Quality Evaluation page, and then click New Project.
   
   
   
2. The Create a project name pop-up window appears. Enter the Project name, and then click Next.
   
   
   
3. The Upload files pop-up window appears. Click the upload button, select a file to upload or drag and drop the files you want to upload, and then click Next.
   
   
   Note: The following file types are supported:
   

   csv	dita	docx	html	idml	json	pptx	properties	srt
   strings	ts	txt	vtt	xlf	xliff	xlsx	xml

   
   
4. The Select target languages pop-up window appears. Select the target languages from the dropdown list, and then click Next.
   
   Note: You can select multiple target languages.
   
   
   
5. A pop-up window shows the project summary and how much AI Tokens are required to proceed. Click Generate Report to proceed with the AI translation and quality evaluation.
   
   
   
6. The Project Report page displays. This page provides the following translation evaluation information about the project:
   
   Translation Quality - Indicates the overall AI quality evaluation of all your translated files in the project.
   
   
   Detailed Breakdown – Displays the AI quality evaluation breakdown of all the translated segments or paragraphs in your file.
   
   
   Human Verification - Allows you to select and send files for further human verification and translation.
   
   
   Project Information - Displays information about the project and allows you to download files in its source language or its AI-translated target language(s).
   
   
   
7. The project will also be added to the list of the AI-translated jobs on the Quality Evaluation page. Click on a project to view its evaluation report.
   
   
   Note: Jobs that have gone through AI translation and evaluation will have an Evaluation Completed status. 
   
   

Selecting a Translation Evaluation Report for a Target Language or File

Note: By default, the report shows the overall translation quality evaluation details of all files and target languages in the project combined.

• To select a translation evaluation report for a target language, perform the following:
  
  From the Translation Quality tab, click on the Target Language dropdown list and then select a language to view the translation quality report for that target language in the project.
  
  
  
• To select a translation evaluation report for a specific file in the project, perform the following:
  
  From the Translation Quality tab, click on the Files dropdown list, and then select a file to view the translation quality report for that specific file only.
  

Requesting for Human Translation

To get better quality translation and improve the quality of your document, perform the following:

1. Click on the Human Verification tab on the Project Report page.
   
   
   
2. Click on a file in your project, select the translated target language(s) that you want to send for translation, and then click Send for human verification.
   
   
   
3. A pop-up window appears showing the summary of the cost. Choose the type of verification service (translation only, or translation with editing), review the quotation, and then click Proceed.
   
   
   
4. The payment page displays. Select your payment method, enter your card information, and then click Pay to proceed.
