Should I install the plugin on a test environment before sending jobs?
Yes. Please follow best practice for managing a website when installing this plug-in. You should always install it on a test server for testing and configuration and utilising our Sandbox mode. Straker Translations are not responsible for any conflicts that occur should you bypass this process and install directly on your live server.

How can I test your plugin?
We recommend that you use Sandbox in your own staging or testing environment. The Sandbox testing mode lets you create projects in a safe environment so that you can assess how the plugin functions, and whether your website’s pages will be translated as expected. No job information is sent to Straker Translations in the Sandbox mode.
Why do I have a 404 error?
Your WordPress home page must be translated, or an error will occur. This is a minimum requirement for a successful rendering of the target language. If it is not done, a 404 error will occur. You can see what page is set as your front page by going to settings > Front Page
Will I have a different URL for each translation?
Yes. In the settings section choose how you would like the new URL for the translated page to look.
Can I make changes myself to the translation after it has been published?
Yes. There is no need to resubmit the content to us if you want to change it yourself. Just go to the published translated page and make your changes as you normally would.
