Important!
Editors must use either Google Chrome or Firefox.
Interface Basics
Source content is displayed on the left-hand side of the screen and the translation on the right. The two can be scrolled simultaneously.
Click on a segment in the source or target to open the text editor. When changing a translation, changes will not be immediately visible in the translated document. You must regenerate the document for any changes to be visible (more on this below).
Main Toolbar
Regenerate
Regenerate the images and make your changes visible in the translation.
Detect Segments
Reloads the segments currently on screen. If you cannot select a particular piece of text, try this.
Lock/Unlock Scrolling
Allows you to decouple the document scroll. By default, when you move the view of the document, the view of both documents will scroll together (i.e. they are locked). Unlocking scrolling will let you move around and view each document independently. This is useful when the documents become out of sync due to text expansion.
Show Geometry
Highlights and color codes all the segments (see color codes below for more info)
Sign Off
Use the sign off button to indicate to the Project Manager when you have finished making changes. Any batch that is not signed off will remain under review and will not be supplied until it is signed off.
Editing Translations
Hover your mouse over a segment, the text will be highlighted in both the source and target documents. Click the segment to display the editor.
[highlight and edit]
Modify the translation by clicking into the editor and adjusting the text. Click the save button to save your changes.
Formatting
Formatting is represented by diamond shaped tags in the editor (in the document itself the tags converted to the actual formatting of the document). Tags can be moved within the text by dragging and dropping them to the appropriate location. Again, click the save button to save any changes.

Comments
Pops up a comment window where you can leave a comment for the translator to review once you have finished. Please do not request changes to the current translation here.

Color Codes
Text segments are color coded to represent different states for each segment.
Color | Description |

Blue | The translation is unmodified |
Red | The translation is modified, but the document needs to be regenerated for the changes to display |
Green | The translation has been modified, and changes are visible and there are no other changes since the last reload or regeneration |
